Allison Cole

Allison is a Rhode Island-based illustrator who loves stories that entertain and empower young readers with curious and wild imaginations. She has worked in a range of markets, from stationery to giftware to textiles, with clients such as Target, Hasbro, Papyrus, American Greetings, and Land of Nod. Allison is an autistic mother to a non-speaking autistic child, and she’s passionate about depicting diverse autistic experiences in her stories and art. When she’s not working in her studio, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and son, as well as teaching illustration students at the Rhode Island School of Design.
