Ginnie lives and works amid the enchanting landscapes of Upstate New York, where her Taiwanese roots and profound connection to nature inform her art. She finds inspiration in the magic of everyday interactions and the enduring bonds between individuals and the earth. She’s fond of whimsical stories featuring mystical, Miyazaki-esque creatures that connect deeply with humanity, and loves projects that celebrate things like family relationships, community, cultural diversity, and environmental themes like sustainability and ecology. When Ginnie isn’t creating, you can find her teaching art at Syracuse University; adventuring with her Great Pyrenees dogs, Luna and Boba; or relaxing in her flower garden.
