Isabella Kung

Isabella Kung is an Illustrator/Author, Instructor, and Professional Cat Cuddler based in San Francisco. Growing up in Hong Kong, she would create her own narratives and draw over all her textbooks – anything to make the dull concrete world more colorful. She is delighted she still does both! 

Her illustrations have received accolades from institutions such as the Society of Illustrators, Spectrum Fantastic Art, 3x3, Creative Quarterly, and SCBWI. Isabella is known for her royal felines from her debut author-illustrator picture book, No Fuzzball! and the sequel, No Snowball!. Her forthcoming book Nunu and the Sea (Fall 2025) will take her readers on an entirely different journey to uncharted fantastical waters.
